Nebulous Fleet Command Theatre
Fleet design, tactical exercises, and coordinated naval combat.
Why We Scout
A healthy multi-game guild does not chase every launch, but it does keep looking over the next ridge. Frontier Scouting lets members recommend and test new science-fiction games without committing the whole community on hype alone.
What Makes a Good Candidate?
- Meaningful cooperative or social play.
- Enough depth to support a continuing guild presence.
- Reasonable access for Australian and New Zealand players.
- Systems that reward teamwork without demanding constant attendance.
- A setting the crew genuinely wants to inhabit.
The Scouting Cycle
- A member proposes a game and explains the appeal.
- Interested players form a temporary scouting party.
- The group reports on performance, cost, community tools, and long-term potential.
- Leadership and members decide whether to open an official frontier.
A trial does not need to become a permanent division to be worthwhile. Sometimes a good weekend expedition is exactly that—and that is perfectly fine.
The Naval Tactics Theatre
Nebulous: Fleet Command is an active High Guard theatre for members interested in fleet design, sensor warfare, missile doctrine, formation tactics, and coordinated command.
Activities
- Training matches and fleet-building workshops.
- Team battles with clear tactical roles.
- After-action reviews focused on learning rather than blame.
- Cross-training for Argosy and Starfighter members.
New captains are welcome. Bring a willingness to learn, communicate, and lose the occasional expensive ship in a professionally educational fashion.
