The World-Touched are humans blessed—or perhaps cursed—by the influence of the World Tree, a primordial source of life and nature’s resilience. This infusion alters their very essence, resulting in a profound connection to nature and a physical mutation: one of their limbs becomes a living extension of the World Tree. These mutations grant the World-Touched unique abilities, setting them apart from ordinary humans.
The World-Touched are often viewed with awe or suspicion, as their transformations are both beautiful and unsettling. They are frequently drawn to roles as protectors of the natural world or wanderers seeking to understand their connection to the World Tree.

Your connection to the World Tree grants you proficiency in the Nature skill.World Tree Limb:
One of your limbs (your choice of arm, leg, or another appendage) has transformed into a living piece of the World Tree. This mutation grants you specific benefits based on the limb you choose:- Arm (Branch Arm): Your arm has hardened into bark and wood, ending in claw-like fingers or a blunt extension. You can use it to make unarmed strikes, dealing 1d8 bludgeoning damage. Additionally, you gain advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks to grapple.
- Leg (Rooted Leg): One of your legs is reinforced by root-like growths, increasing your stability and speed. Your walking speed increases by 5 feet, and you have advantage on saving throws to resist being pushed or knocked prone.
- Eye (Verdant Eye): One of your eyes has been overtaken by the World Tree’s essence, granting you exceptional perception. You gain proficiency in the Perception skill, and you can see normally in darkness, both magical and nonmagical, to a distance of 60 feet.
- Spine (Worldroot Spine): Your spine has been altered, with root-like growths extending along your back. You have advantage on Constitution saving throws and can carry, push, drag, or lift an additional amount equal to your Strength score.
Description:
World-Touched humans bear physical traits that mark their connection to the World Tree. Most notably, one of their limbs is transformed into living wood, bark, or vines. This limb may appear as a gnarled branch, a sturdy root, or a beautifully carved wooden appendage that pulses faintly with life. Other subtle changes often accompany this transformation: a faint green glow in their veins, bark-like patches on their skin, or hair that seems to shimmer like leaves in sunlight.
Their personalities often reflect their connection to nature. Some are calm and steadfast, embodying the patience of ancient trees, while others are wild and untamed, akin to the chaotic growth of a forest. Though they are still fundamentally human, their bond with the World Tree makes them feel both apart from and deeply connected to the world around them.
