The Stake Striker is a leather bracer which has a slot for a wooden stake to be inserted and mostly hidden. The bracer is meant to be worn discreetly and can quickly launch a stake with incredible force to aid in the hunting of vampires.

Discreet Item. You gain a +5 bonus to any Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) or Dexterity (Stealth) checks you make to hide the bracer’s function.

Stake Strike. When you score a critical hit with an unarmed strike, you can choose to have the stake launch out of the bracer. When you do so the creature takes an additional 4d6 force damage and if it is a vampire or creature with a weakness to stakes, it becomes impaled by the stake (unless it is wearing metal armor). Once you have used this feature, you must finish a long rest and insert a new stake into the bracer to use it again.
